DIY Carnival costume with GIOTTO!

Giouli from blog Paixnidaki shows us how to make our own rainbow carnival costume - sun and cloud! We like children's constructions very much, most of you know that. But the carnival costumes always excited us. Specifically, the handmade carnival costumes.

This time Giouli made a handmade rainbow-sun Halloween costume with her children and a small cloud! The process was a lot of fun. See below.

To make the handmade rainbow carnival costume you will need:

  1. box
  2. paints Giotto
  3. ribbon
  4. yellow cardboard Giotto Album Kids
  5. headband
  6. Make up Giotto

Rainbow costume, step by step instructions.

I took a large piece of cardboard box and drew the lines of the rainbow with a pencil. Then we painted with the children with our brushes and paints all the colors of the rainbow and left it on the balcony for a long time until it was completely dry.

After the rainbow dried, I made 2 holes on the top right and left and passed a ribbon to hang it on the child.

Construction of sun headband

I cut 7 yellow double leaves and after I put between the headband, I glued their ends with hot silicone.

The initial result looked something like this.

But Zoe wanted something a little more impressive and this time I cut another 6 smaller leaflets and glued them from the back.

It was the turn of the make up with the theme of the sun!

I used the colors for make up by Giotto, in the basic shades. This package contains white, black, red, yellow, blue and green.

From all the colors, I used yellow and white and made many rays in the face of Zoe in these 2 colors.

The rainbow-sun costume was ready and beautiful. We combined them all with Zoe's favorite yellow dress and they tied everything beautifully.

To make the handmade Halloween balloon costume you will need:

  1. box
  2. paints Giotto
  3. ribbon

I drew a cloud on a cardboard box and then we painted it with the children. First, we painted it all with white tempera and then we made designs with blue tempera. The result was amazing!

Then I took it out on the balcony to dry well. Once it dried, I made 2 holes on the top right and left and hung it on the child with the ribbon.

The make-up was next.

From the same package that I painted Zoe as a sun, I also painted Stelios as a cloud. I used blue and white. First, I made a blue cloud and then I made a few lines on top with the white one.

The cloud costume was ready and beautiful. We combined them all with the jeans and the blue shirt of Stelios and the result was unique!

We sincerely thank Giouli, Zoe & Stelios and https://paixnidaki.com for the beautiful creations with GIOTTO products!

You can play and dress up all year round!
