Decorate your room with amazing 3D clay frames!

Recognizing their love for creation, Familives magazine shows you how to make beautiful 3D clay frames for your child's room! Let's see how you can decorate your room for the new school season!

For our creation we used materials from Fila Hellas, which are easy to use and at affordable prices. What we will need:

Imagination and enthusiasm for creation

  • Das Clay
  • Colors Giotto Décor Acrylic
  • Brushes Giotto
  • Cutters Giotto Patlume

Take a quantity of Das clay, roll it, open it on a sheet of about 2 cm thick and cut it to the dimensions that you want for each frame. We chose 15 x 15 cm and 20 x 15 cm. At the top, we make two small holes with a wooden straw so we can pass a ribbon or string to hang them later. Then we take another amount of Das clay, mold it and open it on a 0,5 cm thick sheet and with the Giotto Patlume slopes we cut the patterns we want to have on each of our boxes. Then we lightly wet one side of each pattern and hang it on each box. Then let the frames dry. Das clay does not need to be baked as it dries with air while it is odorless. We left them one day to dry.

And the next day we took the Giotto Décor Acrylic colors and with the Giotto Brushes we started painting on the frames by separating the surface of each frame and the 3D drawings in color. The colors easily covered the clay! We also added some color details, while writing our names on some boxes to make them more personalized! At last we let the colors dry out well.

Some frames were placed in our office on a wooden base and some others, after passing a string, we hanged them in the kids’ room.

Through this creation, we have enjoyed both our little friends and us and have spent our free time creatively! It is also a nice gift idea for children's friends!

We thank Fila for the products!
